If you want to experience the wild beauty of South Rhodes in just one day, there’s no better way than hitting the road and exploring at your own pace. This was my route — and it turned out to be an unforgettable adventure.

The Ultimate South Rhodes day Trip!

Lindos & St. Paul’s Bay I started my morning early, driving straight to St. Paul’s Bay where I found a free parking spot just steps from the sea. From there, I wandered through the whitewashed lanes of Lindos, slowly making my way up to the famous Acropolis. Going early was the best decision — I avoided the long queues and the midday heat. On the way back down, I browsed the little shops for souvenirs and enjoyed the view before taking a dip in the turquoise waters of St. Paul’s Bay.

Glystra Bay Next, I stopped at Glystra Bay — a peaceful, sandy cove that’s perfect for relaxing after the walk in Lindos. I swam, lay in the sun, and had a light beachside lunch.

Prassonisi The highlight of the trip was Prassonisi, where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean. A thin strip of sand connects the main island to a small islet, and depending on the tide, you can either walk across or watch the waves crash on both sides. The strong winds draw surfers and kiteboarders from all over the world, making it a spectacular sight.

Agathi Beach I ended my day at Agathi Beach, famous for its golden sand and shallow, clear waters. It’s a family-friendly spot with sunbeds, water sports, and a few casual tavernas where I enjoyed a cold drink before heading back.

This route gave me the perfect mix of culture, relaxation, and jaw-dropping scenery — all in one day. If you’re thinking about doing the same, having your own car makes it so much easier. I rented mine here: www.rental-car-rhodes.com — and it made all the difference.
