We parked the car from Rodos Cars rental (little Panda) where the river was breaking the asphalt road, it was a wide open space , and a some.trees. then we started walking. First there was asphalt road and I was thinking to myself that the hike was really easy, and I was happy that I'll be able to fulfil my partner duties and make my girlfriend happy easy way, since she's much more into mountains and hiking than me. then it started raining a bit, and then a lot. We hid under some olive trees if I remember well, but after a while we were completely wet. a car passed by, and I made fun afterwards with my partner, because she was under the tree maybe 30m away from me, but the 2 girls in the car stopped where I was and not where she was, and asked me if I need a ride, which was super nice btw. I said no politely, and after a while it stopped raining. we got on the road again, and then we came to that church, after already climbing I'd say at least 100m gain. Then the road stopped and a narrow, very narrow, twisting and curling trail begun and I was thinking to myself that I was a fool hoping I'll get through that day easy. But then at the top, the spectacle started. The Turkish pine trees were dropping their little needless, and they were totally painting the trail red. I've never seen anything like that before, and it was beautiful. Then we came to the big lake, and then the flat part through the gorge started. I remember the narrow canyon end, it was so beautiful..
